The first PSA study group I joined years ago featured "creative flower photography."  One of the reasons I love the hobby is that it has gotten me "nose to nose" with flowers, seeing them through a macro lens, studying their beauty and intricate design.  PhotoShop provides a new and exciting means to generate creative flower pics.  A favorite Elements 4 application is the smudge tool, which allows me to turn rose photographs into veritable watercolors.
